Sin embargo, este grupo de emprendedores busca la posibilidad de que los médicos comiencen a utilizar modelos anatómicos en tercera dimensión que son fieles a las características físicas de cada paciente.
¿Cómo es el proceso de impresión?
El desarrollo de este proyecto se basa en la impresión en tercera dimensión de un modelo de segunda dimensión como resonancias magnéticas, tomografías o cualquier otro estudio de imagenología relacionada. “Nosotros recibimos la tomografía de cada paciente. Por ejemplo, si yo tengo un tumor en la aorta, que es uno de los casos que tenemos ejemplificados, nosotros como empresa recibimos esa tomografía y la imprimimos en 3D para que el médico pueda ver exactamente el sitio y adherencia del tumor”, comentó Sebastián Hernández para la Agencia Informativa Conacyt.
