Los mitos sembraron dudas e inseguridad y, a su vez, complicaron el panorama de la migración desde julio del 2017. Uno de los más importantes mitos fue que el Servicio de Administración Tributaria (SAT) sería el único beneficiado con esta nueva versión.

Hasta ahora, la última declaración hecha por el (SAT) apunta que las fechas límites para emitir la nueva versión de la factura y sus nuevas modalidades son:
1 enero de 2018: Obligatoriedad para emitir la versión 3.3 de la factura electrónica.
1 de abril de 2018: Fecha límite para iniciar con la emisión de los Comprobantes de Pago en su nueva modalidad.
1 de julio de 2018: Fecha para iniciar con la nueva regulación en cuanto a las Cancelaciones de las facturas o comprobantes de pago.
Adecuación tecnológica/ adecuación de procesos de negocio
Adecuar los procesos de negocio a esta nueva versión requiere de análisis por parte del contribuyente, pero también se vuelve necesaria la inversión de recursos para integrar los nuevos catálogos y modificaciones a la factura electrónica, cuando el contribuyente cuenta con soluciones de software, ya sean éstas de alguna marca en particular o bien de desarrollos hechos a medida.
Las PyME y los pequeños contribuyentes son, en este punto, los más afectados, pues al no prevenir con tiempo estos gastos tendrán que desembolsar una fuerte cantidad, de un día para otro, para tener dichas actualizaciones.
